This is a worthy beginner trad lead at The Northern Point based on the ease of climbing and solid gear placements along the way. It's a great climb to place as many pieces of gear as possible since it takes mainly sizes under 1-inch. We were able to place a variety of cams and nuts along the route.
The climbing itself is fairly pleasant. Work your way on top of a beginning slab until you encounter a blocky fin that you work around left. Use big holds to get on top of a ledge before finishing on a smaller finger crack in a shallow corner. Overall a fun enough climb that is very very short, like many of the other climbs in the area.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
