Start directly below a carved out triangular roof on the right side of the Monument Base Area. The first few moves are on broken rock that is still cleaning up. Make a few awkward moves into the triangular slot under the mini-roof and establish yourself to start climbing out right. Pull over the roof and climb a rounded and hueco filled arete that will be sure to please. The rock is fairly good up top but pull hard with caution through the huecos.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
