There really isn’t enough good things that you can say about Lusty Lady. She might put up her guard from afar with a blocky look and engage in awkward conversation when you first get to know her, but that’s just because she’s been burned by guys like you before. Be nice to her, get to know her, and you will find she is a kind soul that just wants you to smile. Everyone that has spent time with Lusty Lady loves her flow, her delicate yet trusting ways that never leave you hanging without the assurance of a strong hold. Don’t take your time with her for granted, stop to look around and enjoy the views. Before you want it to end your time will run out and you’ll be left having to hang out with a Xenophobe.
This climb is great, don’t think you are too cool for a purely fun 5.8 that will remind you why you like climbing. Great movement with fun pockets and incuts, great views, and sweet finishing perch that lets you hang out for a while with a peaceful view of Smith Rock State Park. Belay from the top, walk east to a rappel station that involves a little down climbing and ridge-like traverse before rappelling to the base of Tuff Shit.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
