A must do and solid 5.11a lead on Koala Rock with great rock. The route is made up of pulling on solid crimps and small feet most of the way while using the arete here and there.
The climbing is easy through the first three bolts, pulling and standing on large knobs on a less than vertical rock. The crux comes halfway through the route as you make your way up a smooth section of rock that requires a high foot and a somewhat bigger move out towards the arete. From there climb up the arete before finishing back on the face using small holds
This is a great climb for new 5.11 climbers due to the easy start, good bolting, and vertical crux.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
