Buffalo Power climbs the smoother face of the broken and blocky front face of Koala Rock to the left of the Thin Air trad start. This is easily one of the best climbs on Koala Rock. The opening sequence of this climb uses nice edges on a vertical face that feels cruiser for 5.10c climbing...because it is. Enjoy the opening moves until you reach the crux move about 2/3's of the way up, which routinely causes climbers to pause or take on the first time up. Once past the crux the climbing eases again for a few moves up to the anchor.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
