A small zone tucked away in a shady pocket of the Smith Rock Group - East face is home to a handful of climbs that are moderate but not as quality as the climbs found at the nearby Phoenix Buttress.
Hike along the river trail passing by Asterisk Pass. Once the trail turns south under tall trees look for trails that branch off to the right to the Phoenix Buttress. Gain the trail at the base of the climbing area and backtrack towards Asterisk Pass. A shady cove with a few bolted routes mark the Llama Wall before the trail kicks back around to Asterisk Pass.
