The east side of the Smith Rock Group
This region is easily access by hiking along the main river trail past Asterisk Pass and hiking up the hillside to your desired zone. With it's east facing walls, the different areas with the Smith Rock Group - East region are great for afternoon shade on hot days or morning sun on cold days. With a plethora of moderate routes in the region, expect to find climbers on the classics any time of year.
