Shipwreck Wall

The first chunk of rock after you pass by the Shiprock, this area has a handful of enjoyable moderate climbs that is a great zone for shade starting in the early afternoon. The density of fun climbs in a single area make it popular. If you keep following the trail up and past the Shipwreck Wall you will make your way to Table Scraps Wall which has few nice moderate climbs as well.

Location

Cross the main entrance bridge and walk by the Shiprock. Take the first trails that break up the hillside away from the river towards the base of the Shipwreck Wall. The climbs here are found up and around on the east face of the area which provides nice afternoon shade
