One of the most accessible moderate climbs in the park, Honey Pot enjoys countless ascents. During the summer this climb gets sun early in the day until the late afternoon, leaving a small window for cooler temperature climbing.
The low first bolt and giant huecos beg beginner climbers to jump on board. After working through the huecos the climbing turns into a good introduction to the Smith Rock style of smaller knobs and edges up to the anchor. Although the climbing is never hard, the easy hueco climbing at the start can lull you into a false sense of confidence.
