Located just past The Peanut, this climb sees many ascents based on its mild grade and proximity to other beginner friendly climbs. It offers a little bit of everything, including noise violations from the mess that is The Peanut. Start out pulling on knobs while trending to the left and up towards a crack. Use the crack as much as possible clipping out to the right before moving back onto the face for some finishing moves. Definitely a fun climb that can be a little heady for beginners but it’s all there. Moving back out onto the face after the crack is great fun with great holds.

The Sterling Hollow Block is great at biting down on ropes when tying friction knots using a Prusik, Klemheist, or auto block. Its Aramid fiber construction helps resist abrasion and heat. Pony up a few extra bucks to have one hanging from your harness, you’ll end up using it.
