Combination Blocks

The last area in The Christian Brothers - East before reaching Asterisk Pass is home to number of easy to moderate climbs that attract crowds. Two stacked looking blocks give the area its name and provide a variety of climbs. Beginners will like the low angle climbing offered up by the likes of Dancer, while stronger and more technically gifted climbers will give more challenging climbs like Ring of Fire a go. Even trad climbers can get there fill with a variety of dihedral and face climbs.

Location

Located in the Christian Brothers - East region, Combination Blocks is the last area you pass by before reaching Asterisk Pass in the main area of the park. The stacked block formation sits just east of a face with a crack running horizontally from the bottom left to top right and a dihedral set back between the two prominent features.
